The Senior Server Software Engineer is responsible for the design and implementation of web application features, with an eye toward scalability and fault tolerance.

Experience:

Typically candidates will have 5 to 10 years experience developing web applications professionally.  The focus of this position is server-side engineering, so knowledge and experience in that area is absolutely essential.  Candidates should be comfortable with the challenges of a startup atmosphere, self-motivated and capable of managing multiple priorities.

Required Skills: Minimum of 5 years commercial software engineering,Professional experience with object oriented PHP development with an MVC framework,Professional experience developing and optimizing SQL queries CRUD operations.

Preferred Skills:

Candidates must also be proficient in one or more of the following areas:
Java server programming and Java design patterns,Configuration and programming with Lucene/Solr, Configuration and programming with memcached, Experience with CodeIgniter MVC framework, Experience with Agile development, SCRUM development experience preferred, Experience with LAMP configuration and management, Experience with other dynamic languages like Ruby and Python.
